Search giant Google has decided to introduce 16 popular game titles including Zynga Poker and Angry Birds to its social networking website, Google+.
However, initially the games will be available for a small subset of all the users it has. Those who have the new games available on their Google+ page will notice a games icon on it.
The updates related to the games will not be visible in the news stream like Facebook. Instead, the Google+ games will be accessible in a separate page through the games icon on the main page. The clutter in the news feed is a common complaint of the users against Facebook which Google+ obviously wants to avoid.
Most of the major Zynga hits including FarmVille and CityVille are exclusive to Facebook. The major question users might be asking — is there anything done by Google+ which cannot be copied by Facebook, currently there is no such thing, but we don’t know about the future.
Google+ is also working on the possibility of mobile users being able to play their favourite games with their friends on computers, says GigaOm.
