Google is all set to launch its latest Pixel 4 lineup next month. The company has started sending out media invites for the launch event, which is scheduled to take place on October 15.
Google is hosting the hardware event in New York City where it is expected to unveil the latest Pixel 4 series along with new Pixelbook 2, new Pixel Slate, Chromecast, Nest Hub and more. The event will kickstart at 10:00 AM PDT (10:30 IST) and it will be live streamed on its official YouTube channel.
That said, there are plenty of leaks and rumours that has shed some light on the specifications of the Pixel 4 lineup. A hands-on video revealed a Smooth Display setting in the Display section that dynamically adjusts the Refresh Rate between 60 Hz and 90 Hz. This means the latest smartphone will feature 90Hz refresh rate, which is a welcome move as only gaming smartphones and OnePlus 7 Pro features such refresh rate.
As per different leaks, the Pixel 4XL sports a 6.23-inch display with a screen Resolution of 3040 x 1440 pixels. The Pixel 4 is said to feature 5.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display. Both smartphones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Processor along with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
The phones will be loaded with Motion Gesture features, meaning users will get an option to skip or rewind songs. The image also reveals a gesture to silence interruptions, which might users to snooze alarms or silence calls by waving your hand over the smartphone. The image also shows new Ambient mode in which Pixel 4 will use Motion Sense to detect nearby movement when you reach to check phone.
