Google Nexus devices “Sailfish” and “Marlin” are soon going to be launched and it is alleged that HTC would be making this year’s Nexus devices. We have already seen both the devices in leaks and rumors quite number of times. Now Google Nexus Sailfish has been found on GFXBenchmarking website. The other one is called Nexus Marlin and is rumored to be superior in terms of screen size, battery, storage and memory.
As per the listing on GFXBench, Google Nexus Sailfish has a 5-inch display that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.1 GHz quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage out of which 22GB is reserved for the users, Adreno 530 GPU. The phone should be released with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system as the benchmark listing shows that it’s running the Nougat Manufacturer Release 1. In the listing there is no information about its battery or expandable memory.
Further, the Nexus phone has 12-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is an 8-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device also has accelerometer, barometer, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
Currently it is not know that when the two devices will be made official but as per some reports, the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish will be officially announced sometime between September and October. So stay tuned till then.
