Google has announced the launch of its latest smart speaker in India, Nest Mini. The smart speaker comes with a price tag of Rs 4,499 and it is available for purchase from Flipkart.
Google introduced the Nest Mini smart speaker along with Pixelbook Go and more last month. The new smart speaker looks identical to the standard Google Home Mini and it comes with a tweak. To start with, the Nest Mini smart speaker comes with a wall-mounting option along with a new power connector port and cable.
The smart speaker is available Charcoal and Chalk colour options. Flipkart is offering some discounts including 10 per cent cashback on HDFC Bank debit cards along with 5 per cent cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit cards. Users will also get no-cost EMIs starting from Rs 375 per month. It comes with voice match feature through which users can get personalized schedules, commute times, reminders, and more.
The company claims that Nest Mini comes with better sound output as compared to its predecessor, the Google Home Mini. It also comes with faster performance, all thanks to a dedicated machine learning chip in the device. The Nest Mini supports a host of streaming services including YouTube Music, Spotify, Gaana, JioSaavn and Wynk Music.
With this, Google Nest Mini is all set to compete with the Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Generation smart speaker. The speaker comes with a price tag of Rs 3,499 and it comes with Alexa virtual assistant along with the Amazon ecosystem. Amazon is offering better colour options with Black, Grey, Purple and White. Users can stream music with Amazon Prime Music, JioSaavn and Gaana.
