Google Home Mini, Home Max and Pixel Buds announced

The Google Home Mini and Google Home Max come with a price tag of $49 and $399 respectively, while the Pixel Ear Buds comes with price tag of $159 in the US.

Google during its “Made for Google” announced a plethora of products including the latest Google Home Mini and Google Home Max along with a new pair of wireless headsets known as Ear Buds. The Google Home Mini and Google Home Max come with a price tag of $49 (approx. Rs 3,194) and $399 (approx. Rs 26,000)respectively, while the Pixel Ear Buds comes with price tag of $159 (approx. Rs 10,364)in the US.

Starting with the Google Home Max, the device will be available for pre-order online from the Google Store, Best Buy and other retailers starting from November 13. Google is also offering 12 months of ad-free YouTube Music, though this offer is for new subscribers only and one have to claim it by February. The smart speaker comes with dual 4.5-inch high-excursion woofers that the company claims can deliver deep and balanced bass. Google has that its latest speaker is 20 times more powerful than the original Google Home.

Further, the speaker comes with Smart Sound, which basically allows it to adapt to the environment and user preferences using Google’s artificial intelligence. This means it can adjust the volume, sound, and bass according to the placement of the speaker and can adjust accordingly if you move it. Further, the smart speaker comes with Google Assistant and the company has added everyday routines to it. You can already say “Hey Google, good morning” to hear about your day, including your personalized schedule, commute time, the weather and news. One can also broadcast a message using Google Assistant and Google Home devices around the house. The device is available in Chalk and Charcoal colour options.

Google Home Mini

Coming to Google Home Mini, the smart speaker comes with fabric that is durable, yet transparent enough to let through both light and sound. There is an under the fabric, which notifies a user when the Google Assistant is hearing. The smart speaker comes with a compact design and delivers a 360-degree sound. The device comes in three colour options including Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral and it can be connected with other Google Home devices.

Google Pixel Buds

The company has also announced its first wireless earbuds known as Pixel Buds during the event as well. The wireless earbuds come with a charging case that can give up to 24 hours of listening time. This is the first wireless headphones that come with support for Google Assistant. Users can play music, make a phone call by simply clicking on the right earbud. One can also swipe forward or backward to control volume and tap to play or pause the music.

The Pixel Buds can be also used to translate between languages in real time with the help of Google Translate. It works with 40 different languages. Pairing is pretty simple, just open the charging case near your Pixel or phone running Android 7.0 Nougat or higher with the Assistant, and your phone will automatically detect them and ask you if you want to connect.
