Google had released its own Camera App for the Android devices in the Google Play Store in mid-April. Today, Google has pushed a new update for app arming it with couple of interesting features. The new Google Camera app 2.2 version is already available in the app store.
Google had promised to improve the imaging aspect for the Android based smartphones and thus had released the stand alone stock Camera app for the Android devices. The new update pushes the Google Camera app to 2.2 version and adds couple of new features.
One of the new features include Auto-cropping in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ration on the Nexus 5 smartphone. These are the on-screen settings which may vary depending on the phone used. New Picture Time allows the user to choose between three to ten seconds of time gap before the picture gets clicked. Panorama shots get two new options – fisheye and wide angle to get the required effects.
