It is that time of year when App stores start sharing the list of top apps ontheir platform. Apple is also a part of this bandwagon and has released the most popular apps on itsApp Store in 2017. Thelist includes apps, music, TV Shows, Books, podcasts across the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes, iBooks and Apple Podcasts.
In the list, Google’s YouTube is among the top 3 apps of2017 used by iOS users. But, interestingly, thecartoon avatar Emoji creator, “Bitmoji” bagged the first position followed by Snapchat. In the games segment, Super Mario Run bagged the pole position.
Under the music section, Canadian rapper Drake manages to tops the album of the year with “More Life”. While the “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran gets the top song honours. The Taylor Swift’s album “reputation” has already shot up to top 3 on the 2017 US Top album charts, despite having only been available for a short period of time.
