Chinese smartphone brand Gionee has launched its latest smartphone under S series- Gionee S5.1 Pro in China. It is a successor Gionee S5.1 phone which was launched last year.
Gionee S5.1 Pro at 5.35mm thickness is slightly thicker than its predecessor S5.1 which had a thickness of 5.15 mm. It features an 5-inch HD (1280×720) AMOLED Display with a Pixel density of 294ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It runs on octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit Processor clocked at 1.3GHz with the help of 2GB RAM. For graphics, it has a Mali-T720 GPU.
S5.1 Pro comes with 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Amigo UI 3.1.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a non-removable 2,400mAh Li-Ion battery and has dual SIM connectivity with dual standby. The phone measures 145.1 x 70 x 6.35mm and weighs 129 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Gionee S5.1 Pro offers 2G/3G/4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS options. It will available in Gold and White color. Gionee has not shared the pricing and details about S5.1 Pro’s availability.
