Yesterday, we had reported that Gionee is going to launch P8 Max smartphone in the coming days. Now the promotional images alongside specifications of the P8 Max has been leaked online.
As per leak, the Gionee P8 Max will feature a 5.5 inch HD (720 x1280 pixels) IPS with 2.5D water drop display. It will be powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad-core processor, along with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone will get its juices from 3150mAh battery. On the camera front, it will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It will also come with Split screen support (Multi window feature). Further, as per leak the smartphone will have two colour options- Black and Gold.
Gionee P8 Max smartphone will succeed the Gionee P7 Max smartphone, which was launched in India last year for Rs 13,999.
If we compare the specs of Gionee P7 Max with P8 Max, there is minimal increase of battery capacity from 3100 mAh to 3150mAh, front camera bumped up from 5-megapixel to 8-megapixel, surprisingly the processor is downgraded from 2.2GHz octa-core to 1.5GHz quad-core. The P8 Max said to retain rest of the specifications of its predecessor.
