Gionee has announced a smartphone for the Nigerian market, which is dubbed as Gionee P5 Mini. The P5 Mini is said to be the lite version of older Gionee P5 smartphone. The smartphone comes in Blue, Black and Gold colours. However, the company has not revealed any details regarding its price or availability yet.
The Gionee P5 Mini features a 4.5-inch On-Cell FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is boosted by a 1.3 GHz quad-core (Mediatek MT6580M‎ chipset) Processor and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and is fuelled by an 1800 mAh Li-ion battery.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage, with expandable storage slot of 32GB capacity. The P5 Mini has a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera that comes with an LED Flash while a 2-megapixel camera is in its front. The smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G‎, Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro USB 2.0, and GPS. The handset measures 132x 66 x 9.1 mm and weighs 153 grams.‎‎‎
