Gionee, which last night announced the Elife E8 with power to produce 120 megapixel pictures, has also announced a smartphone with huge 6020 mAh battery.
Named as Gionee Marathon M5, the smartphone has been announced for 2299 RMB or Rs 23,617 approximately.
With the huge battery the Marathon M5 can last up to four days on a single charge, claimed Gionee. The Chinese company also claimed that with even just 5 per cent charge the phone can offer 62 hours of standby. The M5 also doubles up as a power bank and can charge up to two devices simultaneously, reported The Times of India.
As per reports, the Gionee Marathon M5 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with high definition Resolution (720×1280 pixels). It is based on Android Lollipop operating system and has 16GB internal storage. The phone offers 2GB RAM that runs the device with the help of a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset. Other than that it has a 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and 4G support.
