Gionee has launched three smartphones with 4G VoLTE support in China, namely Gionee F100, F103B, and S5. The Gionee F100 is the cheapest one with price tag of 599 Yuan (approximately Rs 6,131), whereas the Gionee F103B is priced at 799 Yuan (approximately Rs 8,179), and the mid-range Gionee S5 costs 1699 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,389). All the three smartphones are available for purchase through Gionee’s China website.
Gionee F100
The Gionee F100 features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 294 ppi. It has the 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek (MT6735) processor, Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a 128GB micro SD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top of it and it draws the power from a 2400 mAh battery, which claims to offer upto 18.18 hours of talk time and upto 279 hours of standby time.
The Gionee F100 sports a 5-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash light in its back panel and offers a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The handset measure 143.7 x 70.5 x 8.1 mm and weighs around 151 grams. The device comes in Gold and Silver color options.
Gionee F103B
The Gionee F103B has a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) 2.5D curved display with pixel density of 294ppi. It too has a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek (MT6735) processor, which is clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and 128GB expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top of it and it gets the strength from a 2400 mAh battery.
The F103B flaunts a good 13-megapixel stooter with PDAF and LED flash light on the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper on the front panel. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM (dual standby), 4G-LTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset measure 145.3 x 70.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 143 grams.
Gionee S5
The mid-ranger Gionee S5 comes with an all-metal unibody design and fingerprint scanner. The Gionee S5 has a 5.3-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) 2.5D curved display with Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6750) processor, Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. For storage it has 32GB of Internal Memory which you can expand by another 128GB using a micro SD card.
The smartphone comes with a hybrid SIM slot which can hold two SIM cards or a micro SD card along with a SIM card. It too has the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and the Amigo 3.1 UI. There is a 2900 mAh battery in this phone, which claims to offer upto 25 hours of talk time and upto 177.9 hours of standby time.
This smartphone too sports a 13-megapixel snapper with PDAF, LED flash light on the back and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the front. Besides, the smartphone offers hybrid sim slot (dual standby), 4G-LTE with VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and notably a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The handset measure 149.9 x 74.2 x 7.9 mm weighs around 160 grams. The device comes in Gold and Silver color options.
