Chinese smartphone maker Gionee at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Elife S7, which is just 5.5 mm thick. Meanwhile, Gionee has informed The Mobile Indian that the smartphone will be launched in India on April 3 for around Rs 25,000.
“The Gionee Elife S7 will be launched in India in the first week of April and will be available for less than Rs 25,000,” said Arvind Vora, head Gionee India.
While unveiling the phone at the event William Lu, president of Gionee, said, “We believe Elife S7 will bring the future of slim smartphones to the next level. To make ever-slimmer phones, compromising on performance and function is pointless. Manufacturers should offer more features benefiting user experience other than just slimness.”

It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, which comes overlaid with Amigo OS 3.0 user interface. Elife S7 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixel front camera. It is a dual SIM smartphone that support 4G ( FDD and TDD LTE) networks.
Gionee Elife S7 is powered by a 2759 mAh battery and will be available in Black, White, and Blue colours.
