Gionee will be launching Elife E7 just a day before Christmas, rather than in January as was rumored earlier.
We have received an invite asking us to save the December 24 date for an event, and it carries a side profile of a smartphone, which looks like Gionee Elife E7.
Gionee Elife E7 runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2, overlaid with its own user interface called Amigo. On the features front it has a 5.5 inch full HD display, 16 Megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front facing camera.
In China Gionee Elife E7 is available in four variants 4G and 3G, with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage. It is not clear which variant will be launched in India. The 4G- variants have 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processors, while the 3G version gets 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800.
Both support WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. On the battery front they use a 2500 mAh unit, which is non-removable.
