And yet again Sony Ericsson is all set to launch another version of Xperia. But unlike the many previous versions that were launched by Sony Ericsson the Xperia play is one of the much anticipated handsets.
The Xperia play is a clever way of mixing Sony’s patented PSP (PlayStation Portable) gaming with Sony Ericsson’s mobile phones. In short a smart device to take care of your basic communications and gaming needs.
As per the information released by the company the Xperia play will run on the latest version of the Google Android operating system on a speedy 1 GHz processor and will display all this on a bright and vibrant 4 inch high definition TFT- LCD screen.
Currently market if filled up with rumors about the specification of the Xperia play and some of them even claim that the Xperia play will feature a mighty 1GB ROM and 512MB RAM. If the rumors are correct then the users are in for a treat with better performance.
Other things will include a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, a slide out keypad for gaming and a bigger battery pack to handle longer durations of gaming and calling.
Company is tight lipped about all its features but we will soon get to hear all the company is all set to launch this device in international market on the 13 of Feb 2011.
