Images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 display its dedicated camera button and capacitive touch buttons. The images are from a blog, Android Life.
We earlier reported that Samsung is expected to release the new Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet at the upcoming pre-IFA event on 1 September in Berlin, Germany. The official Samsung Mobile Unpacked App for Android had also carried logos of the upcoming product.
Several technology enthusiasts believe that the images are of a Galaxy Tab 8.9 prototype. But we would like to point out the capacitive menu buttons on the black bezel at the bottom in portrait mode, which indicate. As a successor of the Galaxy Tab 7.0, the new Galaxy Tab 7.7 will have similar physical characteristics. However, it is expected to incorporate some core changes.
As per the images, the tablet has a dedicated camera button on one side. Samsung is expected to use a Super AMOLED Display for this tablet as the company has a number of products with Super AMOLED displays lined up for the upcoming year.
It is quite likely that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will come with Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system as this version is said to be made specifically for 7 inch display tablets, but it won’t be surprising if the device comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread with new TouchWiz 4.0 UI layered on top.
The Samsung Mobile Unpacked event is just a few days away and it would be interesting to see what the company has under its hat to tease the mobile world.
