In order to give a boost to the regional languages, India’s largest music streaming service, Gaana, has announced that its users can now use the App in nine different languages -Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri.
In the older version of the app, the streaming service had the option to filter music according to the language preference, but the language used in the app interface was English only. With the latest update now users can select their preferred languages from the language preferences option in the settings menu, while the new users will be asked to select their preferred languages at the time of installing the app.
The new feature is only available for the Android-based devices currently, but the iOS will come soon.
