Motorola has been pretty secretive about its devices recently but not enough to prevent few leaks here and there. Moto M which was cleared the certification on TENNA back in August disappeared until today.
Thanks to TechDroider, a fresh bunch of leaks showing several image renders of Moto M was revealed today. The images also appeared on Chinese website Weibo. Interestingly, Moto M will be the first Motorola smartphone to feature a fingerprint scanner at the back. Also, there will be a design overhaul with Moto M expected to come with all metal design.
Regarding specifications, Moto M is expected to come with a 5.5 inch Full HD display. Motorola is likely to give it a MediaTek’s MT6750 chipset, which has a 1.9 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. The smartphone might come with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB internal storage respectively.
The primary camera on Moto M is expected to be a 16 Megapixel shooter while an 8 megapixel camera might be in its front. The phone is most likely to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow if ot Android 7.0 Nougat which is the latest OS. Also, the device is expected to come with 4G, VoLTE, GPS capability and a 3000 mAh battery to juice it up.
Interestingly, another Moto M device was also spotted earlier with a smaller 4.6 inch full HD display but rumours about the same doesn’t seem to be authentic.
Lastly, the device is expected to launch sometime in November with no information about the Price. Also, it is not yet confirmed if this will be a global device or just for a bunch of markets.
