Following an announcement to upgrade the games hub of Windows Phone to bring Xbox like features to the smartphone, Microsoft has unveiled further plans to make the game hub a little bit more exciting for the WP Mango users.
Microsoft has decided to introduce fourteen new games that will feature on the game hub of the Windows Phone Mango in the months to come.
The Mango update is expected to come by the end of this year which will add powerful Xbox live features to the Windows Phone, enhancing the user experience of the games similar to that on an Xbox device.
Out of the upcoming 14 game titles, some are already available on various other platforms like the iOS and Android, but most titles will be exclusive to Windows. With the Xbox live feature, the avatars (profile) will be included as a crucial part of the games and will help users unlock achievements which will then be added to the Xbox live avatar — it will enable users gain more reputation online.
The titles that is to be included to the games hub of Windows Phone are: Beards & Beaks: Cave Area, Bug Village, Burn the Rope, Chickens Can’t Fly, Collapse!, Gravity Guy, Farm Frenzy 2, Fight Game Rivals, IonballEX, Kinectimals Mobile, Mush, Orbital, TextTwist 2 and Toy Soldiers Boot Camp
The next release of Windows Phone will also give parents more control of what content their child can access on Windows Phone, including M-rated (Mature) games.
