Foursquare has rolled out yet another update but this time it if for devices based on the S40 operating system only. Foursquare is a mobile application that helps its users explore new hangouts and other interesting places. Participating merchants usually offer deals to first-time visitors or Foursquare groups visiting their businesses.
With the new update, the application improves the overall experience of user by integrating itself with Nokia Maps. With this, the Foursquare application will offer a much richer experience than before.
Foursquare will now feature a section through which users can discover places that have been explored by their friends. Along with that Foursquare has also added the ‘specials’ section, which will bring special brand offers from popular local and global brands.
Foursquare is a free to use application and can be downloaded on any S40 or Symbian S60+ device. Present users can upgrade the application directly from the Ovi Store application on their S40 based phone while new users can download it using this link.
