Four Indian brands reveal gadgets with Amazon Alexa support

The iBall headset comes with a price tag of Rs 2,225 while Vood portable speaker for Rs 2,699 and it will be available from mid-November.

Four Indian brands including iBall, Sirena Technologies, boAt and MyBox have announced products, which comes built-in with Amazon Alexa support. The devices include Breathe-M from iBall, Vood smart speaker, boAt Stone 700A rugged speaker and MyBox Alexa Kit.

The iBall headset comes with a price tag of Rs 2,225 while Vood portable speaker for Rs 2,699 and it will be available from mid-November. boAt Stone 700A and MyBox Alexa Kit come with a price tag of Rs 7,999 and Rs 1,999 respectively.

Starting with iBall Breathe-M headset, it is basically a wireless over-ear headset with built-in Mic option. The headset comes with a foldable design and there is a LED circular ring on the ear cups. Users can access Alexa by downloading the VerveLife from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It comes with rechargeable battery.

Next is Vood, which is touted to world’s smallest portable smart speaker with built-in voice assistant. The smart speaker comes with Alexa support and comes integrated with music streaming apps like Amazon Prime Music and Saavn. Users can also connect it via Bluetooth to play songs from their smartphone or tablet. The device comes with 5 to 6 hours of continuous audio streaming and 2 days of battery life.

Coming to boAt Stone 700A, it is waterproof, shock-proof and dust-proof rugged speaker. It will be available in Military Green and Rugged Black colour options. The speaker delivers 8 hours of playback and it offers 360-degree surround sound.

Lastly, MyBox Alexa Kit is a TV entertainment setup that comes with push-to-talk access to Alexa with the help of a mic button on the set-top box remote. Users can simply change channels, control volume or get information by using voice commands.
