Fly Mobile to launch four touchscreen phones

The handsets will be capacitive, resistive and touch plus Qwerty models, and depending on the model they will have 2 to 5 mega pixel cameras.

Fly Mobile, the handset brand of UK based Meridian Group, is set to launch four touchscreen phones in India over the next three months.

Prem Kumar, chief executive officer of Fly Mobile, said, “In this quarter we will be launching four touchscreen phones in the price range of Rs 3,500 to Rs 9,000.”

He further added, “We will be launching capacitive, resistive and touch plus models and depending on the model they will have 2 mega to 5 mega pixel camera.”
Touchscreen phones from Fly Mobile will be loaded with multimedia and social networking features.

Fly is in the process of expanding its product portfolio at price points that will not pinch the pockets of mobile consumers and yet offer users high end design and features.

Fly Mobile is available in over 17,000 mobile retail stores across 145 cities and has more than 384 service centres across the country. It is a leading producer of dual phones in Europe and is present in more than 25 European and Asian countries.

Fly has a range of handsets with features such as dual and dual SIM, a 2..4 inch TFT display with 262,000 colours for better video experience, a 2.5 mm audio jack, stereo FM with scheduled recording, FM alarm, lyrics display, embedded games and the capacity to store 1,000 SMSs and 2,000 phone book entries.
