Flipkart’s Big Shopping Days kicks off on July 16, to rival Amazon Prime Day

The sale starts on July 16 at 4 PM IST and will go on till July 19, longer than what Amazon has planned for its 36-hour Prime Day sale. Flipkart will be hosting ‘rush hour’ sales between 4 PM and 6MP every day, during which time there will be blockbuster deals and price drops, refreshed every 8 hours.

Taking head-on competition from Amazon’s Prime Day, Flipkart is hosting its own Big Shopping Days sale on July 16 where it’ll offer several discounts on smartphones and other gadgets. The sale starts on July 16 at 4 PM IST and will go on till July 19, longer than what Amazon has planned for its 36-hour Prime Day sale. While not revealing much about the sale, Flipkart has hinted upcoming offers on the iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3, the latest iPad and Acer’s Predator Gaming laptop.

As part of the sale, Flipkart will be offering the Google 2 for as low as Rs 42,999 with an additional Rs 3,000 off on exchange as well as an Rs 8,000 cashback. The company is also offering a guaranteed buyback value of up to Rs 37,000 when you buy the Google device.

In addition to the Pixel 2, Flipkart will sell the 64GB Vivo V7+ for Rs 19,990 instead of the original prime of Rs 21,990, while the Honor 9i finds its price down to Rs 14,999. Flipkart will also be launching the Infinix Hot 6 Pro for Rs 7,999 which will start selling on July 17 at 12 AM.

Flipkart will be hosting ‘rush hour’ sales between 4 PM and 6MP every day, during which time there will be blockbuster deals and price drops, refreshed every 8 hours. Flipkart will be selling the Acer Predator Gaming Laptop for a starting price of Rs 63,990 instead of Rs 89,990. There will be exclusive deals o Google Chromecast, Google Home as well as Apple products like the Watch Series 3, and the 6th-gen iPad.

SBI credit card users will get an instant 10 percent discount on purchases made on the site during the sale. Bajaj Finserv will also provide users with a No Cost scheme on select products. The e-commerce site will also offer complete mobile protection services for as cheap as Rs 49, which is for the Galaxy On 6 device. In addition to offers on smartphones and gadgets, customers will also be able to purchase electrical and electronic appliances for up to 70 percent discounts.
