Flipkart Billion Capture+ smartphone with dual rear cameras launched in India

The 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999.

Flipkart has its debut in the smartphone industry with the launch of a new smartphone known as Billion Capture+. The smartphone will be available from November 15 from the e-commerce platform. The 3GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999.

The smartphone will be available in Mystic Black and Desert Gold color options. Customers can also avail interesting deals including No Cost EMI, discounts on leading credit/debit cards and more.

This is the first time Flipkart is entering the smartphone market with the phone and it says that after sales services will be provided through its own F1 Info Solutions. The company has a distributed repair service network of around 158 centers in 135 cities. F1 Info Solutions is also a service partner of several global mobiles and IT brands such as Apple, Samsung, HP, Lenovo, Sony, and Asus, among others, the company said.

To start with the specifications, the smartphone bears a 5.5-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 401ppi density and 2.5D Dragontrail glass. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The phone is available in two configurations: 3GB of RAM + 32GB of storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.

On the camera front, the phone features a dual-camera setup at the back panel with a combination of 13-megapixel RGB sensor and 13-megapixel sensor. The camera also features Portrait and depth of field modes. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone runs on stock 7.1.2 Nougat and the company says that it will be updated to Android Oreo as well. The Billion Capture+ is backed by a 3500mAh battery along with QuickCharge for fast charging. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and port.
