Nokia 3310 is probably the most talked about phone these days and is expected to launch globally sometime in Q2 2017 or a bit before. But well before the official launch, its fake version has been reportedly sighted in China. The fake Nokia 3310 has been made in such a way that if you are not aware of the features and body design, then you can easily be tricked by the seller.
So here we have listed down few differences between the fake and original device to make our users aware of this scam. In the above image, one can clearly see the difference between fake (left) and original Nokia 3310 (right).
The major difference can easily be seen in Home screen of the device where Menu button shifted to the right instead of centre, ‘Go to’ button is missing in the fake. There is also some difference the way screen looks and the screen quality is also low. Moreover, fonts are also different compared to the original device.
Further, the other differences lie in keypad wherein the fake device keys are bit smaller and are coated with black ink, while in the original keys are bigger in size and numbers/alphabets are coated with silver. There is also a visible difference in colour of body between the fake device and original. The original device looks more attractive and crisp, whereas fake device looks pretty dull and has been made of cheap material.
