Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch the Honor 8 Pro smartphone in the first week of July, Allen Wang, Director, Product Center, Huawei India Consumer Business Group told The Mobile Indian. “The smartphone will come with a competitive price and it will be available through online channels,” he added.
The device is said to come with fourth generation dual camera technology, which might improve the overall performance of the camera. However, the company has not revealed the exact pricing and availability of the upcoming smartphone. To recall, the device was earlier reported to be launched in Russia. The smartphone is essentially the Honor V9, which was launched in China.
According to Huawei’s Russian website, the device will feature a dual-camera setup at the rear which comes loaded with two 12-megapixel sensors. The smartphone also supports 4K recording at 30 frames per second and comes with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
As per the specifications are concerned, the device will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display with a screen Resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a Pixel density of 515ppi. The device is powered by company’s in-house Kirin 960 octa-core processor and is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. However, it is not known which variant will be available for the Indian market.
