Epson has unveiled its new EB-L1000 series of lase projector at InfoComm India 2016 event in Mumbai. Epson claims it to be the world’s first projector series to have inorganic 3LCD panels with an inorganic phosphor wheel which gives superior light and heat resistance for spectacular image quality, reliability, and durability.
The EB-L1000 series also has a new lamp-free laser light source with 3LCD technology which helps in reproducing images with outstanding levels of colour brightness for extremely long periods and also delivers up to 20,000 hours of use until next maintenance round. Further, the projectors features nine optional lenses including the world’s first zero-offset ultra-short throw lens, the ELPLX01, which offers maximum flexibility and enables the projectors to be installed in the shortest throw distance where available space is at a premium. Moreover, Epson claims these series to be perfect for situations requiring continuous projection including command centers, storefronts, museums, digital signage and more. The projectors are also capable of reaching maximum brightness with the help of laser light source.

Coming to some other features, the EB-L1000 series also boast 4K enhancement technology with which it shifts each pixel diagonally by 0.5 pixels to double the resolution to 3840 x 2160, surpassing full HD quality.
The EB-L1000 series is also capable of auto-calibrating images adjusting colour, uniformity and white balance. Further, the projectors also provide maximum flexibility and can rotate 360 degrees in any direction. For seamless projection experience, these have edge-blending, curve projection, corner wall projection, point correction and other features.
The Epson EB-L1000 series have total of 3 models.
The EB-L1200U which comes with 7,000 lumens, WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) Laser light source, In-Built camera for calibration. The EB-L1405U comes with 8,000 lumens and rest of the features are similar to the EB-L1200U. Lastly, EB-L1505U comes with 12,000 lumens and Laser light source apart from the similar resolution and camera.
