Intex Technologies has launched a new entry-level smartphone – Aqua 4X Dual-SIM smartphone. The new Aqua 4X features 4-inch display and runs the age-old Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update. Running a MediaTek mobile chipset, Intex Aqua 4X will be offered in Black and Grey versions for Rs 2,999.
Intex Aqua 4X is the new entry-level Google Android based smartphone that offers front facing camera too. Intex has placed VGA camera in the front for video calling support. At the back is a 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash. The Aqua 4X has a 4-inch IPS display made with One Glass Solution technology and supports 480×800 pixel resolution.
The Aqua 4X houses a dual-core 1 Ghz MediaTek MT6572 mobile Chipset paired with 256 MB RAM. This basic hardware aims to run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update without a question. There is no word on whether this smartphone will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update.
Aqua 4X supports dual-SIM configuration and offers Wi-Fi support for faster mobile internet experience. Out of the two sim slots, one supports 3G network enabled SIM card.
Other features include Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS and 1300 mAh battery. Intex will offer the Aqua 4X in India exclusively through eBay website.
