Samsung is working closely with game publishers and developers to bring top gaming titles to its upcoming game distribution service — Games Hub. AndroidandMe reported that Electronic Arts has ported Dead Space to run on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. There is no official word about the game from Electronic Arts or Samsung but it is expected to be out soon.
Electronic Arts is among the largest game publishers with several popular titles in its library. While several Android games continue to receive lukewarm attention from consumers, Samsung is pulling up its socks to make gaming big. However, it is not the first company to do this.
Earlier this year Sony launched the PlayStation Suite that will aid developers to create better and PlayStation certified games for Android. But that wasn’t getting enough attention despite Gameloft offering several HD quality games at affordable prices.
Samsung is working with Electronics Arts to bring popular PC games like Dead Space to the Android platform and make the best of the powerful hardware in these. For instance, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet packs a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 Processor and the Dead Space port for Android.
