Xiaomi, Micromax, Oppo and many other companies launched their devices this week.

Xiaomi got all the limelight, mostly for wrong reasons. At the launch event of Mi Max, it faced the ire of many of its disgruntled fans. Controversy apart, we have listed all the devices which were launched in Indian market this passing week.

Xiaomi Mi Max

This was the highlight of this week. Announced at Rs 14,999, the Mi Max comes with a huge 6.44 inch screen and will available on Mi Store starting July 6 while on other online stores it will be available from 13th July.

Latest launches

This model has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and Snapdragon 650 SoC. Xiaomi Mi Max has a body made of Aluminium and plastic and features 6.44-inch Full (1920×1080) IPS display. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4850 battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner which is located on the rear panel.

The smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, 4.1, WiFi, Micro-USB 2.0 port, AGPS and GLONASS. The handset measures 173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm and weighs 203 grams.

Xiaomi has also announced a Snapdragon 652 variant of Mi Max with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage has been priced at Rs 19,999 but the company has not revealed when it will be launched in India. Both the variants have expandable memory via micro SD card.

Micromax Canvas Unite 4

Priced at Rs 6,999, the Unite 4 comes with Android based Indus OS 2.0. The Canvas Unite 4 has an 8- megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has a 1GHz Quad Core processor. Also, this budget smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which have further expanded to 64 via micoSD Card. It has a 5 inch IPS HD display, runs on Android 5.0 and has a 2500mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Pro

Canvas Unite 4 Pro sports a 5 inch IPS HD display along with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core and is based on Android 5.0. It has a 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB which can be further expanded to 32 GB through card. It too has a fingerprint scanner and is powered by a 3900mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Pro has a price tag of Rs 7,999.

Gionee F103 Pro

Gionee, after launching F103 with 2GB RAM in October last year for Rs 9,999, has launched its successor, the Gionee F103 Pro for Rs 11,990.

The Gionee F103 Pro features a 5-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS Oncell display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, which is paired with 3GB RAM.

It has 16GB internal memory which can be boosted up to 128GB through a micro SD card. The F103 Pro runs on latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system and has an updated customised user interface – Amigo.

F103 Pro is fueled by a 2400mAh polymer battery, which the company claims offer up to 20 hours and 470 hours of standby time. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, Proximity sensor, G-sensor, Motion sensor, Light sensor, and Accelerometer. The handset measures 145.3 x 70.5 x 8.5mm and weighs 143 grams.

Oppo A37

Oppo has officially announced the launch of Oppo A37 smartphone in India at Rs 11,990. Oppo A37 comes in grey and gold colours.

It has a 5-inch HD (1280X720pixel) display with of 294 and 4 protection. It has a 1.2 GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) quad-core processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and 128GB expandable storage slot. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 lollipop operating system with Oppo’s own ColorOS 3.0 on top.

Besides, the Oppo A37 has 2630 mAh Li-ion battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash light and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. iBall Andi5G Blink 4G

It was found listed at Rs 5,999. The iBall Andi5G Blink 4G comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) IPS display and is boosted by a 1GHz quad-core Cortex A53 Advanced 64 bit processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 32GB via Micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a 2300 mAh Li-ion battery.

Karbonn A91 Storm

It too was found listed at Rs 2,899. The phone features a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display with pixel density of 240 ppi and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor which is coupled with 512MB of RAM. The dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes packed with a 2200 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which the company claims to offer up-to 8 hours of talk-time and upto 250 hours standby time.

The Karbonn A91 Storm comes with 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by upto 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 2-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone has a 0.3 megapixel camera in its front.

For connectivity, the device offers 2G,3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and a micro USB 2.0 port. It has FM Radio. The handset measures 127 x 64.2 x 10.15mm and weighs around 117 grams.

HyperX CloudX Pro headset

HyperX, a division of Kingston Technology, has announced the launch of its CloudX Pro Gaming headset in India. The HyperX CloudX will be available in both, online and retails stores for Rs 9,999. It comes with interchangeable velour ear cups, a 2M PC extension cable and a hard shell carrying case.

Panasonic HC-PV100 Camera

Panasonic has its new Full-HD camera – HC-PV100 for wedding photographers. The new Palm-type professional camera was unveiled globally yesterday by Yosuke Yamane, head – imaging business group, Panasonic.

Panasonic HC-PV100 is equipped with 3 Manual Rings, and 2-Channel XLR Audio Input Terminals enabling connection to everything including microphones requiring a phantom power supply, and audio equipment with +4 dB output. The 2-Channel XLR audio input terminals enables the use of professional-specification and high-performance microphones for recording high-quality sound. Moreover, it is provides +48V phantom power supply for condenser microphones. In addition, these features control the focus, iris and zoom resulting in professional needs and on-site acquisition.

Panasonic said it is especially suited for nighttime wedding parties. It has a built-in LED video light with a bright 300 lx at 1 meter. It also makes enhanced and low-light shooting possible with a hand-held type camcorder. In addition, it is equipped with two filters including colour conversion filter and diffusion filter, empowering photographers & videographers to shoot and offer great looking pictures.

The new wedding camera offers 20x zoom lens and has dual SD card slot which lets the user exchange cards while shooting. It allows simultaneous recording and relay recording with hot swap. With this agile, handheld type camcorder with low-light shooting capability for professionals, Panasonic plans to take customer experiences to the next level making it special by providing them with a rich photographic experience.
