Dell XPS 13 with 4K display launched in India, price starts at Rs 94,790

The laptop will be available in Rose Gold and Alpine White colour options.

Dell has announced the launch of its latest laptop, known as XPS 13, in India. The laptop comes with a price tag of Rs 94,790 for the Core i5 variant, Rs 1,41,490 for the Core i7 variant and Rs 1,59,790 for the Core i7 variant with a display. The laptop will be available from company’s official website along with Dell exclusive stores, Croma, Reliance Digital starting from February 20, 2018.

To recall, the company announced the latest laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 in January this year. The major highlight of the laptop is the new 13-inch InfinityEdge display fitted in an 11-inch frame. The device features up to 4K screen resolution. The laptop will be available in Rose Gold and Alpine White colour options and there is also a limited edition with Platinum Silver colour along with Black carbon fibre palm rest.

The brand says that one can wipe off pen marks or other stains from the laptop. Dell has also added glass fibre materials that help the laptop to stay cooler for a longer period of time. The Dell XPS 13 is powered by 8th generation Intel Core i5 (Core i5-8250U) or and Core i7 (Core i7-8550U) processors.

The base model is backed by an 8GB of LPDDR3 and 256GB of PCIe SSD storage, while the other two models come loaded with a 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. The company claims that it can give up to 30 hours of battery backup of Full and up to 11 hours of backup of UHD resolution. The laptop ships with a USB Type-A to USB adaptor. The laptop also comes loaded with voice, touch and facial recognition along with an optional fingerprint reader in the power button that works with Windows Hello. The laptop runs on Windows 10 operating system.
