Dell has launched the Dell Ultrasharp Webcam that can capture video in up to 4K resolution. The webcam also has the AI auto-framing feature.

Dell has launched the Dell Ultrasharp Webcam in India for video conferencing. The webcam has a cylindrical shape and comes with an auto-framing feature. This feature keeps the user in focus even if they are moving in the scene.

The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam is priced at Rs 18,999 in India. It is already available for purchase worldwide through Dell’s enterprise channels.

Dell Ultrasharp Webcam: Features

The webcam sports an 8.3-megapixel Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor that has up to 4K capabilities. It can capture at 24fps/ 30fps frame rate. With full-HD resolution, the webcam can shoot in 60fps. The 3D/2D video noise reduction automatically eliminates motion blur and grainy images, even in low light.

There’s also a Digital Overlap HDR feature that outputs even more vivid colours. With auto-framing, the person is always kept in centre and focus. You can customize how much you want to show yourself and your surroundings by adjusting the field of view to 65°, 78° or 90°.

The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam magnetically attaches to the mount and has a tripod adapter. You also get a cable management slot while the webcam can be attached to displays with even the thinnest of bezels.

The Dell ExpressSign-in feature detects your presence when you are close and uses Windows Hello to log you in automatically. In addition, it locks the system automatically whenever the person walks away.

There’s also a privacy shutter cap which allows you to conveniently snap the cover on the lens and keep it protected when not in use. The device has a USB-C port for connecting it to the PC using the USB-A-to-USB-Type C cable provided with the webcam itself.

It is also certified for conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The webcam is compatible with both MacOS and Windows 10. The Dell Peripheral Manager software can be used to customize the features of the webcam.
