Coolpad today made its grand entry in India, launching two spec-rich smartphones at attractive price point. The first handset, Coolpad Dazen 1, has been launched at just Rs 6,999 and it will definitely pose a challenge for the recently launched Yu Yuphoria and the Xiaomi Redmi 2. The company has also announced its Dazen X7 for Rs 17,999 that is set against Mi 4 of Xiaomi and the Asus Zenfone 2 among others.
Despite the budget price tag, the Coolpad Dazen 1 offers superb features. To start with, it has a 64 bit, 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor and huge 2 GB RAM. The device also has decent 8 GB of built in storage. The device has a 5 inch display with HD resolution, 8 GB Internal Memory and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. Measuring 141×71.5×9.3mm this device offers WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port.
The Dazen 1 also looks cool in the camera department with an 8 megapixel rear camerawith f/2.2 lens and an LED flash light. In the front it offers a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera for the selfie lovers. The Coolpad Dazen 1 comes armed with a decent 2500 mAh battery and will be available in moon dust grey and snow white colours from June 9 on Snapdeal.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 packs a 5.2 inch FHD display, 13 megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 lens, 8 megapixel front camera, 1.7 Ghz octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and a 2700 mAh battery. It too has Dual-Band Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and FM radio. The phone will be available in gold and titanium white colours.
