Coolpad has today added a new member to its Note series with the launch of Note 6 in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 8,999 for the 32GB ROM variant, while the 64GB ROM variant is priced at Rs 9,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase from May 01, 2018 onwards, at 300+ multi-brand stores across 8 states including Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
The major highlight of the smartphone is dual-selfie cameras, which come with a combination of 8-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary Sensors for 120-degree wide angle selfies.
The Coolpad Note 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core Processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in two storage options: 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded via micro SD card slot.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and it is juiced up by a 4070mAh battery, which the company claims deliver a standby time of 350 hours. On the connectivity front, it supports, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, fingerprint sensor, and Micro USB port.
Commenting on the launch, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, said, “With a dual selfie camera, great viewing experience, long lasting battery, Coolpad Note 6 will offer a great value for money smartphone for the Indian customers. We are also planning to introduce few more aggressive offline devices in next 2-3 months, in order to make an expansion in the offline market through our retails partners and multi-brand outlets. We are expecting that Coolpad will be able to make a strong presence in the offline market by the end of 2018.”
