After launching Coolpad Note 3 Plus last week, Coolpad is all set to launch yet another smartphone in India on May 20. The company has issued an invite through its social media platform to announce its upcoming flagship smartphone for Indian market on Friday (May 20).
In a Twitter post, the company announced, “Good news! Our flagship smartphone will be launched on Friday 20th May, 2016. Show us your excitement. #DualInOne.”
As per reports, the company is expected to launch Coolpad Max smartphone, which was released in China last year. The Coolpad Max comes with a dual-system (dual space feature) to securely access the mobile ecosystem by curtailing the disturbance caused by third-party applications. However, as of now Coolpad has not revealed any information on which smartphone they will going to launch at the event.
As far as specifications on Coolpad Max is concerned, it has all-metal unibody design and features a 5.5-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved display. The Coolpad Max is powered by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage, and a micro SD card slot. This 4G LTE smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Coolpad’s custom UI on top of it and gets its strength from 2800 mAh battery.
It has a 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash on the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie on the front panel. The Coolpad Max also houses a fingerprint scanner on the back and comes with all basic connectivity features. The handset measure 6.9mm thick, and weighs around 175 grams.
