Coolpad likely to launch Coolpad Note 3 Plus in India today

Coolpad is all set to launch its latest smartphone in India. The company had issued an invite for today’s event to announce its upcoming smartphone for Indian market.

The media invitation reads, “Sayed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India, Invites you to experience the ‘PLUS’ of Coolpad Note 3”. If we go by the invite, company is expected to launch Coolpad Note 3 Plus smartphone, which will be the successor of Coolpad Note 3 launched in India last year for Rs 8,999.

Earlier the week, Coolpad had announced the price cut of Rs 500 on its older Note 3 (Black variant) smartphone. The Coolpad Note 3 (Black variant), which was initially priced at Rs 8,999, is now available at a special price of Rs 8499. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon India and the offer is available till stock lasts.

As far as specifications are concerned, Coolpad Note 3 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. It runs on 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and has a customised interface, Cool UI 6.0. This dual smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor, along with 3GB RAM, and Mali-T720 MP2 GPU.

The Coolpad Note 3 offers 16 of built-in storage and a memory card slot using which you can increase its memory to up to 64 GB via a micro SD card. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The smartphone is packed with 3000 battery.

Its connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G/ LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, WLAN, 4.0, and micro USB. It also comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side. The phone measures 151 x 7 x 9.3mm mm and weighs 155 grams.
