Coolpad and LeEco co-developed smartphone ‘Cool1 ‘ has finally hit the Indian shores. Priced at Rs 13,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon starting from January 5. The device comes in three colour options to choose from – Gold, Silver and Rose Gold.
The smartphone was launched in China back in August, just after when LeEco’s CEO Jia Yueting took over as Coolpad’s Chairman. The major highlight of the smartphone is the dual 13-megapixel rear camera setup of which one is a Monochrome sensor, while the other one is a regular sensor. Further, the dual-camera setup comes with f/2.0 aperture, phase-detection Autofocus (PDAF), dual tone LED flash on the back, while for the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter as well. The device sports a metal unibody design and comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell display with a screen Resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
On the hardware front, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The device is backed by a 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage with no expandable storage option. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with LeEco’s EUI 5.8 running on top of it. The device comes packed with powerful 4060 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and also comes with dual SIM functionality. For the connecitivity, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n) ,Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 152 × 74.8 × 8.2mm and weighs 167 grams.
