Comio has today launched Comio S1 Lite and C2 Lite smartphones in India. The former is priced at Rs 7,499 while the latter comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999 and both the devices will be available at retail stores in North and Western India starting today. Comio C2 Lite comes in Metallic Grey, Sunrise Gold and Royal Black colours while S2 Lite comes in Ocean Blue,Sunrise Gold and Royal Black colour variants.
Comio has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer a cashback user for Jio users, which gives you 44 vouchers each worth Rs 50 on recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299. The cashback will be visible under “My Vouchers” in MyJio app. Jio users will get a total cashback of Rs 2,200 in theMyJio app, bringing down the effective price of the Comio S1 Lite to Rs 5,299 and C2 Lite price to Rs 3,799.
Starting with the Comio S1 Lite, the smartphone comes loaded with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Processor along with 2GB of RAM. It is backed by a 32GB of storage, which can be further expanded via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the device features 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and 8-megapixel front camera with flash, 4P lens, f2.2. Cameras come with numerous features such as Beauty, Bokeh, Panorama, Watermark, HDR, Filter and Smile Capture effects. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3050mAh battery. The handset measures 143.5 x 70.7 x 8.65 mm.
Coming to the Comio C2 Lite, it features a same 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core processor, it is equipped with the 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via micro SD card slot.
Other than this, on the camera front, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash, 4P lens, f2.2 and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calling with flash, 3P lens, f2.2. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3900mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, both the devices support 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, dual SIM and micro USB port, FM radio and 3.5 mm Headphone jack.
The devices are also embedded with the Freezer Application. The Freezer App allows you to use as many applications as you wish without worrying about RAM constraints.
An interesting feature that these phones offer is the Venus Browser. This offers a light weight web platform for smartphone users with advanced functionalities like browsing, app store and services. Users can do many things with this app like shopping, playing games, browsing, listening to music and watching movies etc. Venus is first Indian Browser solution providing hyper-regional content covering major Indian states. The browser also supports 22 regional Indian languages.
Comio smartphones come with the valuable anti-theft feature preloaded in all handsets. In case of any suspicious activity, SIM based alerts are shared with the registered mobile number. One of the interesting feature of anti-theft is the ‘intruder selfie’. In other words, when someone tries to unlock the device by trying to break the pattern or PIN, the device will automatically capture the image of the unauthorized person. Other options include the lock and unlock feature, shutdown blocker, data back up and SIM related functions.
