CES 2019: Sony Bravia Master Series 9G 8K, A9G announced

The brand has introduced 8K television along with new A9G series of 4K televisions during the annual tech event.

Sony has announced the launch of its latest smart televisions during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019. The brand has introduced 8K television along with new A9G series of televisions during the annual tech event.

Sony Bravia Master Series Z9G

Starting with the major attraction from the Japanese brand, the Master Series Z9G comes with 8K resolution. The company introduced two models of 98 inches and 85 inches. The Smart TV range is equipped with next-generation image processor X1 Ultimate with 8K ultra-resolution algorithm custom database, which basically enables the 8K X-Reality PRO to up-convert any content to 8K resolution.

It is equipped with a Backlight Master Drive technology, which features a newly developed module and control algorithm optimized for 8K. Additionally, there is Acoustic Multi-Audio technology that uses four speakers located above and below the screen to provide an immersive audio experience.

Sony A9G 4K TV

The new flagship range of televisions from Sony is available in 77 inches, 65 inches and 55 inches and are equipped with an display panel with HDR support. E. The models are equopped with X1 Ultimate image processor coupled with Contrast Booster panel control technology, which reproduces everything from the deepest blacks to the highest luminosity colours. Then there is Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology that produces sound from the screen itself for a surround-sound experience and Center Speaker Mode.

These TVs feature Netflix Calibrated Mode, which lets you enjoy a wide variety of entertainment from Netflix exactly the way the creators intended. Additionally, these TVs are part of the IMAX Enhanced certification program that is the result of collaboration between Sony’s engineers together with IMAX, DTS and content creators.
