Indian mobile device maker Celkon has announced the launch of a new tablet, called Celkon CT910+HD. The tablet is priced at Rs 7,999.
The Celkon CT910+HD comes with a 7 inch display and has a 1 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB of RAM, Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system, 4 GB internal storage (1.9 GB user available) and 32 GB expandable storage slot.
The tablet comes with mere 960 x 540 pixel resolution which is not high definition as suggested by the tablet’s name but is still better than what most calling tablets have to offer in this price range. The Celkon CT910+HD comes with a SIM slot for 3G connectivity and voice calling. Celkon is providing an earpiece with the tablet to reduce dependence on hands free kits for calling.
There is a 2 Megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera as well for video calling.
The Celkon CT910+HD comes with a 3500 mAh battery pack that should be good enough for a day’s worth of usage and offers Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS connectivity onboard as well.
