Canvas HD rival: Zen Ultrafone 701HD quad core phone launched for Rs 12K

It has a 5 inch display, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera etc.

Following the success of Micromax’s Canvas HD, Zen Mobile has now announced to launch a quad core processor based smartphone in India. The handset called, Ultrafone 701HD, is priced at Rs 11,999 and comes with Android i.e. 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The enabled Ultrafone 701HD is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor. The handset has a 5 inch IPS capacitive screen and as the name suggest, it comes with high definition (HD) resolution. The smartphone comes with a 2000mAh battery, 1 and 4 GB of on board storage which is expandable upto 32 GB.

Zen Ultrafone 701HD has WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth, 3G, and and a micro USB port for connectivity. Besides, the smartphone flaunts an 8 auto focus rear camera with BSI Sensor and LED flash while a 3.2 megapixel camera is in the front. As per Zen, the handset has full HD video recording capability along with features like Panorama Shot, and Burst shot with upto 99 shots on the go.

Zen is offering a flip cover and back cover for free with the smartphone as well.

Currently there are several handsets with quad core processors under Rs 15,000 which includes the Micromax Canvas HD, Karbonn Titanium S1, and Xolo Q800.
