Canon has today announced the launch of its compact and lightweight DSLR camera in India, known as EOS 200D II. The camera comes with a price tag of Rs 52,995 with the EF-S18-55 IS STM Kit and Rs 65,995 for the EF-S18-55 IS STM + EF-S55-250 IS STM double zoom kit.
The latest DSLR from Canon comes loaded with a 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, which is mated with a DIGIC 8 Processor that provides sharp and vibrant images. The camera comes loaded with an ISO range of 100 to 25,600, which is expandable up to ISO 51,200. It is loaded with Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology that helps in fast focusing even in low light conditions. Then there is an Auto Lighting optimiser that captures dramatic scenes like sunrise or sunset or rich hues of a grass field.
The camera is equipped with Creative Assist function that helps in navigating through different settings for the desired effect. It also features an eye-detection Autofocus feature that tracks the subject’s eye even when there is movement. It comes with vari-angle 3.0-inch LCD touch screen with 1.04 million dots pixels. It is also equipped with the capability of shooting 4K videos and one can also make 4K time-lapse movies.
On the connectivity front, the camera is loaded with one-touch WiFi button, which helps in uploading the photos to social media platforms or cloud storage. One can also transfer photos to a smart device and control camera settings such as shutter speed, self-timer, focus selection and more with Canon Camera Connect application. It also comes with built-in Bluetooth low energy that helps it to be connected for quick access such as image viewing on smart devices.
