Xolo has introduced a quad-core mobile Processor packing budget smartphone, named as Xolo Q500. Xolo has integrated it with the dual SIM capability with dual standby feature and priced it at Rs 7,999.
The Xolo Q500 has a 4-inch capacitive display with 480×800 pixel resolution. This display has been made using the One Glass Solution technology for thinner screen profile. The Q500 packing 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8225Q mobile processor is paired with Adreno 203 graphics chip and has 1 GB RAM. This is a noteworthy combination for a budget device.
Xolo has loaded the Q500 with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it has a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash at the back for imaging. The camera can be used to record up to 720p HD Resolution based videos. There is also a 0.3 megapixel VGA camera in the front of the phone for video calls.
The Xolo Q500 offers support for 3G Network in one of the SIM slots. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi and assisted-GPS. The only troublesome part is that some of the low power chips bearing devices are relatively slower in locking the location when used for location based services.
Xolo has offered 4 GB on-board storage and a Memory card slot to support up to 32 GB microSD card in the Q500. The phone has a 1450 mAh battery.
