If you are on the BSNL network, this might interest you. The state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set to re-launch its ‘truly unlimited’ offer on this Republic Day. The offer pack comes in at a price of Rs 498 and offers unlimited 3G data for 14 days. Another plan which comes in for Rs 1099 offers additional free BSNL-to-BSNL calls as well but the company claims that the cheaper Rs 498 plan will attract more customers.
If you are not aware, BSNL introduced this plan in early December only to be taken down later on for an unknown reason. Nevertheless, the company is now all set to bring in the offer and expect it to bring in more subscribers. Interestingly, the two above-mentioned offers are one of the only few plans offering unlimited data and calls in a true sense.
Earlier, Reliance Jio also joined the race under the Jio Preview Offer. However, the company soon included the 4GB limit for 4G data under the Welcome Offer and the limit has now been further decreased to 1GB under Happy New Year offer. Other than this, there are unlimited packs from some other telecom operators as well but the data usage is actually restricted to 10GB in those cases.
Where on one hand, operators like Jio is continuing to build on its subscriber base, BSNL is yet to recover from all the harm done by Jio after it was launched back in 2016. While we are still not sure about the Rs 1099 pack, the cheaper @Rs498 pack can turn some heads.
