State run telecom operator, BSNL will roll out its 4G services in Odisha soon, according to a report of New Indian Express.
“Initially BSNL will start with Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and later expand 4G services to other parts of the State,” CGM BSNL Odisha Circle Satyananda Naik was quoted as saying in the report.
Idea and Airtel had rolled out 4G services in the eastern state earlier this year. Airtel 4G services are available in eight towns of the state including Jharsuguda, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Rourkela, Brahmapur, Sambalpur and Puri. Idea’s 4G services are available in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Baleswar, Jharsuguda, Jatni, Khurda, Sambalpur, Brahmapur, Rourkela, Bhadrak, Rajagangpur, and Sundargarh.
Recently, BSNL announced some attractive schemes to increase its customer base. It has recently introduced free unlimited calling from BSNL landline to any landline and mobile network of any service provider on Sundays on pan India basis starting August 15. As per reports, it has also recently upgraded its minimum Broadband speed to one Mbps.
