BSNL launched Rs 1,188 Mathuram prepaid plan for its customers with long-term validity back in July this year under the promotional basis for 90 days. Now the operator has extended the availability of Rs 1,188 plan for another 90 days.
TelecomTalk reports that BSNL will now offer the Rs 1,188 prepaid plan until January 21, 2020, valid for 90 days. Earlier the same plan was valid until October 23, 2019.
As of now, the BSNL Rs 1,188 Mathuram prepaid plan is only available in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles as the company is offering the same plan at different denomination in other circles.
The plan comes with a validity of 345 days and it offers 5GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling to any network, including the Mumbai and Delhi circles. The voice calls are though limited to just 250 minutes per day, after which BSNL will charge users at standard call rates. Apart from this, the plan also offers a total of 1,200 SMS messages for the whole validity period.
Recently, BSNL started rolling out extra 1.5GB of data per day for its Rs 429 prepaid plan. The prepaid plan comes with a validity of 71 days and it offers 1GB of data per day. This means that users will get the extra benefit over its existing data limit. BSNL customers opting for this plan will get a total of 2.5GB of data per day.
