BSNL revises several prepaid plans with more data offerings

BSNL’s Rs 186 prepaid plan is now offering 3GB of data per day for 28 days instead of its older 2GB daily limit. The Rs 187 plan gets a similar treatment with the same benefits.

BSNL has started revising a slew of budget plans for prepaid users. The revised plans include prepaid plans of Rs 186, Rs 187, Rs 153, Rs 192, Rs 118, Rs 106 and Rs 107. All these plans have been updated with their respective new data offerings.

BSNL’s Rs 186 prepaid plan is now offering 3GB of data per day for 28 days instead of its older 2GB daily limit, post which speeds will come down to 40 Kbps, reports TelecomTalk. The plan also comes with 250 minutes of free calling to any network every day and 100 daily SMS. The Rs 187 plan gets a similar treatment with the same benefits including 3GB daily data, 250 minutes calling and 100 per day.

BSNL has revised its STVs that are available for Rs 118 and Rs 192. The new Rs 118 BSNL STV now brings 0.5GB data per day with 250 minutes of voice calling for 28 days. The Rs 192 STV now offers 3GB daily data with free PRBT caller tune, 250 minutes of daily calling and 100 SMS per day. There’s also a free deal or coupon available to users daily.

As for BSNL’s other prepaid vouchers, the state-run operator has changed the Rs 153 voucher with 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited calling to any network and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

There are revisions for some FRC (first time recharges) as well. The Rs 107 FRC and Rs 106 FRC now bring 1GB daily data each with a validity of 24 days. Both FRCs are available for new connections only.

It’s important to note that all the above-revised plans with data offerings will have a post-FUP speed of 40 Kbps.

BSNL recently stared offering a Rs 234 prepaid smart plan for users in Kerala. The plan offers a validity of 30 days, during which users will be able to access 90GB of total data. It also offers 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calling with 250 minutes of calls for local, STD and national roaming.

The state-run operator also revised its Rs 96 and Rs 236 prepaid plans with more data for those connected to its networks. The Rs 96 STV prepaid recharge offers 10GB data per day for a total validity of 28 days while the Rs 236 STV provides 10GB of data per day for 84 days. Both STVs don’t offer any voice calling benefits.
