BSNL offers free EROS Now subscription on select prepaid plans

The state-owned operator is offering a subscription with Rs 78, Rs 98, Rd 298, Rs 333 and Rs 444 prepaid plans.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started offering Eros Now subscription on select prepaid plans in India. The state-owned operator is offering a subscription with Rs 78, Rs 98, Rd 298, Rs 333 and Rs 444 prepaid plans.

Under this offer, BSNL customers opting for above-mentioned plans will get Eros Now subscription for a limited period of time. With this, customers will be able to enjoy unlimited movies and Eros Now exclusive web originals coupled with unlimited music, trailers, music videos and short form videos.

Coming to the STV plans, with STV 78, users will get 8 days of free subscription. The prepaid pack offers 3GB of data per day and it comes with a validity of 8 days. Similarly, the Rs 98 prepaid pack offers 2GB of data per day and it comes with a validity of 24 days. The Rs 298 comes loaded with 1GB of data per day and it comes with a validity of 54 days, except in Andhra Pradesh, where the pack is priced at Rs 297.

Similarly, the STV 333 and STV 444 prepaid packs offer 3GB per day and 4GB per day data respectively. All the above-mentioned packs come loaded with unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks expect Delhi and Mumbai coupled with free national roaming. Furthermore, once the data limit is over, the speed will be reduced to 80Kbps.

Previously, BSNL confirmed that it will be distributing recharge plans for prices of Rs 19, Rs 39, Rs 59 and Rs 69 for accessing its several hotspots across the country. The operator also confirmed (through another tweet) that, on subscribing to any of these plans, users will be able to have access to 38,000 BSNL Hotspots. This is possible through BSNL’s partnership with Wi-Fi network provider iPass, who will offer internet connectivity at tourist sites, heritage locations, public places and rural areas.
