BSNL offers 1GB of free mobile data to non-internet users

Meanwhile, the telecom operator has also extended the validity of its Rs249 broadband plan and waived off all the installation charges.

In order to promote more use of internet, state-owned telecom operator, BSNL is now offering free 1GB of to all its users, pan India, who are not using data services from BSNL. The mobile data will be valid for 28 days.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited said in a statement that it has decided to give a special free offer for smartphone users to promote digital India drive and to increase Internet users in prepaid mobile services.

Meanwhile, the telecom operator has also extended the validity of its Rs249 plan and waived off all the installation charges. If you are not aware, Rs 249 broadband plan will offer you 2Mbps speed up to 1GB and 1 speed post crossing the 1GB limit.

On the other hand, BSNL also recently released a new pack priced at Rs 339 which offers free unlimited calls within its network (BSNL to BSNL) and 2GB data per day for 28 days. The offer is limited to 90 days. Apart from this, the pack also offers free calls to other networks for up to 25 minutes per day after which users will be charged Rs 25 paise per minute.
