Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced new prepaid plans for its users in the country. The company has introduced Rs 99 and Rs 319 plans in the Calcutta circle.
Starting with the Rs 99 plan, BSNL users will get unlimited voice calls on the local and STD network along with free national roaming. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days. Coming to the Rs 319, the pack offers above-mentioned benefits and it comes with a validity of 90 days. Further, it is important to note that users will be charged Rs 60 paise per minute when making a local and STD call in Mumbai and Delhi.
Interestingly, the state-own telecom operator is planning out to roll out 4G services pretty soon. “We expect spectrum in the 2100MHz Band within days and equipment is also ready,” Calcutta Telephones CGM SP Tripathi told PTI.
Previously, BSNL has announced a new prepaid plan for its users in India. Dubbed as Maximum plan, the pack comes with a price tag of Rs 999 and it is applicable across all circles expect Jammu and Kashmir, North East and Assam.

Under this offers, BSNL users will get 1GB data per day and once the daily limit is exhausted the net speed will reduce to 40 Kbps. The pack comes with a validity of 365 days. Further, users will get unlimited voice calls on local and STD network for 181 days.
The tariff changes from 182 day and users will be charged 60 paise per minute for on-net and off-net calls (local + STD). Apart from this, users will be charged 25 paise per SMS on local and 32 paise per SMS on national.
